According to the tribune, a 4-weeks old baby having a 2 year OND Certificate was discovered on the payroll of one of Zamfara State’s LG council. In accordance with the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Alhaji Garba Gajam, the corruption Zamfara state’s civil service is at a worrisome level.
As a result of this, Zamfara State Government has instructed all government staffs to open a bank-account and send the information to their different departments as salaries will from now on be deposited into their bank accounts in other to control the extravagances of some Directors of Finance who had adopted many tricks to defraud the government of enormous amounts of cash.
“We discovered that in one of the local government councils, a one-month-old baby was in the payroll. But the most disturbing aspect of our discovery was that the baby was said to possess an Ordinary National Diploma. This is the rot in our system”, he said.
Whaooooooo this is another level of corruption o.
